West Valley will be well-represented at Super Bowl 54 in Miami by the San Francisco 49ers Vice President of Player Personnel, Adam Peters. Peters was an All-Coast Conference tight end for the Vikings in 1997 and 1998.

Peters is in his third season with the 49ers after spending the 2009-2016 seasons with the Denver Broncos. He was the director of college scouting and a regional and national scout for the Broncos, and the Denver team that won Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara was made up of more than two dozen players acquired by Peters. He also spent six years with the New England Patriots in their scouting department.

Peters played defensive end at UCLA from 1999-2001 and then spent one season as grad assistant for the Bruins. Before West Valley, he attended Cupertino's Monta Vista High School, where he played baseball and football.

The 49ers take on the Kansas City Chiefs Feb. 2 at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium.
