Purportedly the most of any 3C2A school, seven West Valley student-athletes will continue their water polo careers, on scholarship, at four-year institutions, Viking coach Willo Rodriguez recently announced. The Vikings won their 34th-consecutive Coast Conference championship with 30-6 overall and 5-0 league records and finished second in the state in 2024. Six Vikings will be playing for NCAA D1 schools, while one will be at a top-tier D3 college.

Ethan MacLeod - Cal St. Fullerton (D1) All-America, All-NorCal, All-Coast, All-State Tournament in 2024. Logged 131 goals, 127 assists, 99 steals and shot 63.3% in his two-year Viking career.
Taine Pickering - Cal St. Fullerton (D1) All-Coast 2nd team in 2024 despite early-season injuries. 104 goals, 10 assists, 28 steals and a 69.3 shooting % in his career.
Zalan Hegedus - San José St. University (D1) A key shift player in 2024, he had 51 goals, 33 assists and 40 steals, while shooting 58.6%.
William McKeon - UC Davis (D1) All-America, All-Coast, All-State Tournament, the NorCal MVP in 2024. Had a 20-5 record in 2024 with 193 saves (47.7%) in goal.
Danny Rendon - Pomona-Pitzer College (D3) Another important role player in 2024, he logged 26 goals, 20 assists, 26 steals and shot 50%.
